In a fire or smoke situation, every second counts. Our Smoke & Heat Sensors are professionally monitored and will sound an alarm and contact you right away. If you can’t be reached, the Frontpoint team will notify local emergency responders to quickly send help. Typical hardware-store smoke detectors can't do that.
These small, but mighty sensors (less than 5” wide) use advanced heat detection and photoelectric technology to sense unusually high temperatures and even small amounts of smoke. They’ll trigger an alarm under any of these potentially dangerous situations:
- A sudden rise in temperature (15° F or more in 1 minute)
- Overall temperature above 135° F
- Smoke in the air

INSTALLATION
It doesn’t get simpler than this: just peel the adhesive backing, position the mounting plate on the wall (or ceiling), then press and hold for 30 seconds. Done.
REMOTE ACCESS
If smoke or excessive heat is detected, you’ll get an immediate alert on the Frontpoint mobile app — including which sensors were activated.
