The Premium Floodlight Camera is our most robust camera yet, complete with a powerful siren and two 3,000 lumen floodlights activated automatically at the first sign of a potential intruder. The floodlights can be activated with full or strobing effects through our mobile app, upon motion detection, or automated based on your schedule or system events.
The camera’s use of Video Analytics distinguishes between people, animals, and objects, ensuring your recorded video clips and notifications are tailored to what matters to you. Two-Way Audio allows you to hear and speak with visitors—right from the mobile app—and a 49-foot vision range lets you see what's happening outside your home, even in low-light conditions.
The siren can be triggered through the mobile app if you see or hear something suspicious, and all recorded video clips are captured with audio and securely stored.

INSTALLATION
Easily add your camera to your system using the Frontpoint mobile app. To mount the camera, you’ll need to be able to route the cable to an indoor power outlet; this means either drilling a hole from the outside of your home through to the inside, or using an existing hole from a previous camera.
If you’re unable to drill a hole for the power cord, you can consider routing the cable through a window or to an outdoor power outlet if your camera will be under a roof overhang. However, this method will require a few extra steps for waterproofing and protection, as well as the purchase of an accessory; please refer to our instructions here, if interested.
Requirements for Installation and Mounting:
- Wi-Fi connection: 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz
- An outlet within 9.5 feet of the camera location to accommodate the length of the power cable

PREMIUM FLOODLIGHT CAMERA FAQ
1. Can I use a junction box?
Accessories are provided so you can mount the Premium Floodlight Camera on an existing junction box if you already have one. This method requires capping off existing wires, however, since the Premium Floodlight Camera is powered by AC power cable. Using a junction box is not the standard setup method and not required- providing more flexibility on the mounting location.
2. What is Perimeter Guard and how does it work?
Perimeter Guard works with compatible cameras to protect your home as a form of smart-intruder deterrence. Combining the functionality of Video Analytics and Two-Way Audio, Perimeter Guard helps you ward off intruders before they arrive at your doorstep. Based on your customized configuration, a piercing siren and two strobing floodlights are automatically emitted when a person or animal enters the camera's field of vision.
3. Will my Premium Floodlight Camera work if the power goes out?
No. The Premium Floodlight Camera requires a power source, so it will not work if your power goes out.
